The APO recently organized a workshop on issues and challenges in implementing information security management system based on ISO 27000 in Islamabad, Pakistan. The five day workshop from 21 – 25 November 2016 saw a total of 24 participants from 12 member countries and 3 resources persons from Malaysia and Vietnam deliberate on finding best practices in integrating the system with other international standards. As part of experiential learning process, the delegates also visited the ISMS certified companies to observe and learn the actual implementation of the management system.
