Professor Laurence Prusak holding the audience spellbound. He spoke on Driving Knowledge Productivity: How Can Organizations Achieve Better Outcomes from Knowledge-centric Work? at the APO Secretariat on 16 May as part of the Executive Speaker’s Session series. The intellectually entertaining presentation was attended by visitors to the Secretariat, representing the Embassy of IR Iran, Embassy of Pakistan, Japan Productivity Center, private Japanese corporations, and Hitotsubashi University, in addition to 19 Secretariat staff. After his one-hour presentation, Professor Prusak generously answered questions from the enthusiastic audience. APO Secretary-General Mari Amano was among the most appreciative, exclaiming that being able to have that amount of time and personal attention from such a renowned thinker on knowledge management and knowledge productivity was “like having Disneyland reserved for the day.”
