Thank you to all who sent in their best shots to the APO Photo Contest 2012.

This year’s entrants did not disappoint—more than 700 photographs were submitted to the contest from APO member countries. Judging of the 2012 contest took place at the Secretariat on 18 May. This year, the judging was done by photography experts Yukako Hiramatsu and Gaku Yamaya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Datuk Shaharuddin Md. Som of the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan, Counsellor (Commercial and Economic) Erdenetsogt Sarantogos of the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan, and APO Secretary-General Ryuichiro Yamazaki.
