A training program on the Promotion of Productivity and Innovation in Beekeeping took place in Batman Province, Turkiye, from 21–25 October 2024, with 94 participants, including Ministry officials and local beekeepers from the Sason and Kozluk districts of the province. Led by experts from the ROK and Nepal, the training covered innovative techniques in hive management, disease control, and honey marketing. The program aimed to increase quality honey production in Batman, which currently lags behind the national average. With support from the local government, the project has set a model for regional beekeepers, thereby enhancing skills and fostering sustainable growth in the sector.
