24 Jul 2024

Within the objective of developing and curating the Green Productivity (GP) Specialist course, an online workshop and a face-to-face training-of-trainers course covering the concept of GP; GP in the circular economy; GP methodologies, tools, and techniques, and case studies were held by the Singapore Productivity Centre (SGPC), 22–27 April and 19–22 June in Singapore. In the online workshop, the resource person from the Philippines led discussions on incorporating GP 2.0 into the curriculum, developed the proposed outline, and reviewed the curriculum material. The training sessions encompassed a diverse range of topics, including GP methodology, system approaches, and quality management systems. Additionally, contemporary frameworks such as the triple planet crisis, Society 5.0, and the happiness economy were explored. The sessions also covered policies, programs, and approaches pertinent to the service, industry, government, and agriculture sectors by a solo resource person from the Philippines. More than 20 participants were actively engaged through the presentation of case studies, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of these concepts.
