Development of Productivity Practitioners for the Youth

24 Jul 2024

The Mongolian Productivity Organization (MPO) conducted a comprehensive training course on the Development of Productivity Practitioners for the Youth, 10–14 June in Ulaanbaatar. The course provided essential knowledge of and skills in productivity enhancement to help foster a new generation of productivity practitioners.

As a continuation of the online course conducted in 2023, this face-to-face program introduced various productivity tools, techniques, and enhancement initiatives, including the use of AI. The sessions were tailored to equip the youth with practical and theoretical knowledge to drive productivity improvement. Successful productivity-related programs targeting the youth in selected members were presented, offering participants insights into best practices and innovative approaches to involve the new generation. Similar to other multicountry programs offered by the APO, this course facilitated networking among productivity practitioners from different APO members, fostering collaboration and exchanges of ideas. Twenty-four participants from 17 APO members attended, reflecting their interest in this topic. Over the five days, participants engaged in interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions led by four resource persons from Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, and Thailand.

The course concluded with the acknowledgment of proposals and commitment by all attendees to developing more effective productivity programs for the youth in APO members. All parties expressed their satisfaction with the program, emphasizing the importance of continued support and development for young productivity practitioners. This training course marks another step forward in the APO’s ongoing mission to promote productivity across Asia and the Pacific, reinforcing the organization’s dedication to fostering a culture of productivity among the youth.
