Thirty-five government officials, SME owners/top managers, and academics involved in SME development planning, training, and consultancy convened in Tokyo, 7–11 September, to attend the Workshop on SME Innovation and Quality Management for Myanmar to Increase Productivity organized by the APO and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan. They visited leading Japanese companies in Tokyo and Nagoya which exemplify best practices in these areas.
