Lean manufacturing and material flow cost accounting (MFCA) are essential tools and techniques, especially for SMEs, during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are also major contributors to Green Productivity (GP), developed by the APO as a strategy for enhancing productivity while improving environmental performance.

In this session, National Productivity Council (NPC), India, Director Saravanan Gopalakrishnan will discuss GP enhancement through lean and MFCA by introducing NPC initiatives. Examples of synergy between lean and MFCA will be given.
