National Productivity Centre of Turkey (MPM) Secretary General Mr. Kerim Unal visited the APO on 26 April 2010, together with MPM Board Vice Chairman Dr. Mehmet Eroglu and Mr. Rasim Yilmaz, Coordinator of the 16th World Productivity Congress. After attending the APO Governing Body Meeting last week in Kuala Lumpur as observers, the delegates flew in to Tokyo and toured the APO Secretariat on Monday.
With hopes for opportunities to collaborate in the future, the Turkish delegation first gave a presentation on their organization and its activities. In the afternoon, they received presentations on how the APO strives to contribute to its members in the Asia-Pacific region.
“We want to extend our relations and start a new collaboration,” said Mr. Unal. “Because, you know, productivity is not something personal. It is a common responsibility, to improve the quality of life and productivity. It has been a pleasure to be here and to share. It’s been a really productive visit.”
