The National Productivity Centre of Cambodia hosted a training course on Productivity-linked Wage Systems in Phnom Penh, 1–5 July. The objectives were to understand the concept and applications of PLWS to enhance skills in designing, implementing, and managing effective systems and share best practices of and innovative approaches to PLWS among participating APO members.
Twenty-six participants from 11 APO members explored PLWS and other gainsharing concepts and their implementation in countries like Cambodia, Malaysia, and Singapore. They also developed action plans to promote PLWS adoption. The course integrated theoretical insights with real-world examples through case studies and site visits to successful enterprises, LyLy Food Industry Co., Ltd and N.V.C Corporation Co., Ltd., and concluded with group presentations of action plans to adopt PLWS. The course provided participants with practical tools and strategies to apply PLWS in their own contexts.
