Adopting a culture of diversity is important for public organizations. Many empirical reports show a positive relationship between diversity and innovation.

In this APO Productivity Talk, Thailand’s Pikul Ittihirunwong, lecturer at Chiang Mai University, and Indonesia’s Dr. Titiek Kartika Hendrastiti, senior lecturer at the University of Bengkulu, share interesting examples of gender and social minority inclusiveness in the public workforce and public service delivery, achieving desired outcomes, and serving users better.
