Huynh Van My Linh, Manager of Business Development at Bureau Veritas, Vietnam, leads an insightful discussion on the critical role of effective chemical management within the textile industry in Vietnam, with a focus on the Manufacturing Restricted Substances List by the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) Foundation. The presentation explores key process control measures, including chemical management audits, environmental assessments, and the ZDHC Verified InCheck program, which enhances supply chain visibility and credibility. Additionally, Huynh Van My Linh discusses the Higg Facility Environmental Module as a tool for assessing and improving performance across areas such as energy, water, wastewater, and waste. The session highlights the importance of waste and wastewater management, their significant impact on Green Productivity, and their broader economic and environmental implications for Vietnam.
