This P-Talk highlights how entrepreneurial organizations should manage employees’ emotions for enhancing productivity. Dr. Chihmao Hsieh, Associate Professor, Department of Business Management, SUNY Korea, addresses the emotions and emotionality that promote and impede the discovery and exploitation of entrepreneurial opportunities. While typical managerial intuition often suggests that positive emotions are always best for capturing the value from those opportunities, the actual effects of emotion are often far more subtle.
