This P-Innovator highlights the thinnest solar panel available, Solar Paper, which has been adapted to help underprivileged children in Africa under the Solar Cow Project. In this project, children can bring Solar Cow batteries for recharging in Cow Chargers installed in schoolyards and study while the batteries are recharging. This sustainable power source creates an immediate, tangible incentive for parents to continue their children’s education. The Solar Cow can also help power devices to improve children’s access to digital education tools. This is especially useful for rural schools in developing countries which often lack educated teachers. It is also an innovative way to enhance inclusive productivity.
