Workshop on Productivity Gainsharing for SMEs

Productivity gainsharing is crucial for enhancing productivity in SMEs. Research shows that implementing gainsharing initiatives can motivate employees to work harder and smarter, ultimately improving overall productivity (ILO, 2020). Interventions that focus on performance management practices have positive impacts on SME productivity.

Sharing knowledge within SMEs also plays a significant role in enhancing competitive advantage and overall performance. Therefore, implementing gainsharing programs alongside knowledge-sharing and performance management interventions can be instrumental in boosting SME productivity.

This workshop will discuss the concepts and frameworks of successful gainsharing models and explore their adoption among SMEs in APO members.
