Dr. Indra Pradana Singawinata was elected as the 13th Secretary-General of the Asian Productivity Organization during the 64th Session of the APO Governing Body held virtually in June 2022 and assumed the post on 16 September 2022.
He brings a wealth of experience from his 20 years of working in both the public and private sectors. Prior to his appointment as APO Secretary-General, he was serving as the Senior Vice President of the Indonesia Infrastructure Guarantee Fund (IIGF), a state-owned enterprise that provides guarantees for infrastructure projects implemented under a national public–private partnership scheme in Indonesia.
Dr. Singawinata was conferred a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan. He also received an MA in Accounting from the University of Indonesia and a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Economy, Trisakiti University, Indonesia.
His mission during his tenure is to reduce the productivity gaps among member economies by strengthening APO programs and tools and to advance the capacity building and technical assistance for National Productivity Organizations (NPOs) in the membership.
